SASEMAS Robocup Rescue Challenge
July 25-26, 2005
Utrecht University, Netherlands
Hosted as part of AAMAS 2005
Teams are invited to participate in the SASEMAS Robocup Rescue Challenge - A Robocup Rescue Simulation League competition hosted as part of the SASEMAS workshop at AAMAS 2005.
The goal of this challenge problem is to demonstrate a real-world problem where safe planning is essential to a successful outcome.
Challenge Description
This competition will consist of challenge problems for the design of safe and secure intelligent autonomous agents and multi-agent systems. This year there will be a track that focuses on safety issues, and we may additionally create a separate track that focuses on security issues. Both tracks will be extensions to the RoboCup Rescue Simulation platform.
Additional details will be added to this page soon. Participants will be encouraged to submit papers to this site (http://www.sasemas.org/2005/) describing their approach to solving the challenge problem(s).
Teams may either attend the competition in Utrecht, or may participate remotely. Remote teams must send their agent code before the competition and may submit updates as the competition proceeds. The results of each day's simulations will be made available at the end of the day. The competition will run for two days. The first day will be used to develop rankings for the teams and the second day will hold the semi-finals and finals.
Qualification for the challenge will follow the same procedure as Robocup 2004. Teams must submit a Team Description Paper of no more than 12 pages, and a log file showing the performance of the team.
